Mithzy joins PSR-LA as the Communications Manager to support the organization’s internal and external communications strategies, create digital content to promote PSR-LA’s advocacy and programmatic work, and develop creative approaches to messaging and storytelling.

Living just a short bike ride away from the beach, Mithzy spent most of her childhood outdoors and by the sea. Her passion for environmental justice is inspired by the great privilege of having abundant access to green and blue spaces. She earned a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of San Diego and has worked in the nonprofit sector since 2017.

Prior to joining PSR-LA, Mithzy worked with LA Waterkeeper, primarily focusing on water issues in and around the LA region. As a native Angeleno, she is excited to continue to protect the community, city, and environment she loves. In her spare time, she enjoys eating her way through LA and playing with her pup, Willa.
