Emma joins PSR-LA as the Climate Justice Associate, working primarily on the campaigns to end oil and gas extraction at the city and county levels. She supports the coordination of the STAND-LA coalition and represents PSR-LA in other county and statewide climate justice coalitions. She focuses on issues that intersect the topics of climate, public health, and equity. Emma graduated from Occidental College in 2023 with a degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and a minor in Public Health. She became interested in the issue of oil and gas in Los Angeles as a student and interned for the STAND-LA coalition as well as conducted independent and collaborative research on oil sites in Los Angeles as part of the Environmental Justice Research Group at Occidental College. Emma is excited to begin her post-grad life in Los Angeles, living with friends and continuing to explore the city and Southern California!
