PSR-LA Stands in Solidarity With The AAPI Community

All of us at PSR-LA are devastated and angered by the increase in hate crimes against the  Asian American Pacific Islander community, and in particular, the most recent killing of eight individuals, six of whom were Asian American women, at three different spas in Atlanta.

PSR-LA stands with those who call for this heinous act to be named a hate crime, and we stand in solidarity with the entire AAPI community who have experienced more than 3,800 anti-Asian racist incidents, mostly against women, in the past year.

Tomorrow, PSR-LA will join the #StopAsianHate Virtual National Day of Action and Healing where we will stand with the AAPI community to mourn those who have been lost and join together with people across the country in saying Stop Asian Hate.

Please join us in this act of support and solidarity with our AAPI brothers and sisters. A Day of Action Toolkit is provided with background information about the day and resources for your participation. You can join on social media using #StopAsianHate and you can also attend the Worldwide Vigil at 7:30pm EST.

Please join PSR-LA Friday, March 26, 2021, in solidarity with the Asian American community for this Virtual Day of Action and to fight together against racism and discrimination.
